One People, Three Pizzas

When Richard J. went to pitch Quality First's products and services to a man in San Jose earlier this month, he wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary – nor was he expecting to be anything out of the ordinary. But Hamdey had been watching Richard going door to door and was very impressed by his hard work and dedication – as well as his presentation, of course.

He told Richard that, if he was in the area, he could stop by a place called "My Pizza" and they'd take good care of him. Curious, the crew traveled to Morgan Hill, CA on their lunch hour and ordered two modest pizzas. But then the homeowner came out of the kitchen and told them no.

No, Hamdey told them, they'd be getting the works. He was the business owner and he wasn't taking no for an answer.

Three pizzas and some salad later, he sat down with the crew and spent the entirety of the lunch hour trading stories about hard work and sharing some words of wisdom. "We're all one people," Hamdey said, pointing to a painting he'd worked on to illustrate the concept. "If we all share love and peace with another, we'd have a better life for ourselves."

He told the team that he was able to recognize hard work when he saw it, and he knew they embodied it to a T. A dedicated worker in his own right, Hamdey dauntlessly pursued his own dream of owning a pizzeria and, with time and hard work, My Pizza was born!

This generous man continued, "while you're here, we're your family." With such an outpouring of love and kindness, the team was invigorated and ready to write leads for the rest of the day!

As far as we're concerned, Hamdey is definitely part of the #QualityFirstFamily, too!
